In the first quarter of 2022, the top navigation and maps applications in Qatar showed varied performance trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here are the highlights, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced consistent growth in downloads, starting from 3.9K in late December and reaching a peak of 5.8K in mid-March. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, increasing from approximately 235K to 244K throughout the quarter.

Google Maps Go maintained a steady download rate, with a notable peak of 4.7K in mid-March. Active users remained stable, fluctuating around the 259K mark, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.
